The Place: History

 

This ministry was organized in June of 2003 by Jim McNaull in Houston, Texas as a non-profit tax-exempt corporation. Jim began working with a corporation that demonstrates a way of helping others through generous giving. Jim met with many successful entrepreneurs and corporations and determined that there existed a need for more concentrated efforts in small businesses and corporations that do not share their profits and manpower so that "the principle of generosity will transform the world". As a means of forming relationships with these businesses, Jim McNaull provides executive coaching for business leaders. In 2005, The Place expanded its executive coaching personnel to include Beverly Fluke of Houston, Texas.

 

 

Executive Coaching

 

The Place provides executive coaching for leaders in the business community.  The Place's emphasis is on the construction of a balanced life.

 

  The experience begins by dividing the areas of a person's life into six categories:

	Physical
	Emotional
	Spiritual
	Social
	Career
	Family

 

The first session begins by the coach and person discovering strengths and weaknesses of these attributes of a person's life.  Over the next nine sessions of about an hour, goals and objectives are agreed upon and home assignments are made to help the person reach the goals and objectives.  This process is effective because the coach holds the person accountable for progress in changing one's focus and direction to obtain a balanced life.

 

Each coaching session is decided between the coach and person and can be scheduled weekly, bi-monthly or monthly.

	Assist companies in selecting charitable organizations that best reflect their desires for improving the future
	Maintain a hands-on relationship with charitable organizations to ensure they are legitimate and exemplify the desires of the corporations in order to make the world a better place
	Go where men and women work with appropriate activities in order to enhance their faith and instill a vision for compassion
	Provide coaching to company executives to ensure a balanced focus for a life worth living so that they can become a positive influence for good in their communities, nation and world
